What a great article. Thank you for opening an inquiry into one of the least appreciated of our emotional states. Anger can be a very good indicator of how I perceive the world's impact on me, giving me an opportunity to examine old thoughts, patterns and habits. It's an old friend that kept me safe in a difficult environment, and reading these words has brought me some deep clarity about the part of me that I felt I had to hide away in order to stay safe. Anger has helped me keep that part of me safe, and that's no longer necessary. And now on to the most challenging part of the work: Holding that part of me with love, and doing my best to be mindful when anger arises. Thank you!
