First glad to finally hear Leadership Skills honored for how complex they are. In essence, Effective Leadership Skills are Humanity Skills: being compassionate, seeking to understand, flexibility & admiting you don't know everything.
A bit frustrated that it seems for it to be legitimate it has to be an Ivy league white man saying this for it to be heard.
Many of us have known and worked for years the ways Grant described, ie., with transparency, compassionate listening, seeking to understand the other person, working remotely, working shorter hours in spite of leaders in business telling us "it won't work" because of their own mistrust, blindspots, stubbornness.
