I read this article by M Yuvan three times and it deserves to be read many times more. There's plenty to ponder within it, as Patrick W. notes, but most especially how geography and ecology are alive (versus impersonally inanimate) within all inhabitants that preserve connection. It's no surprise that "modern" society seems increasingly ungrounded as it blithely obliterates the natural world it pretends only "savages" insist we revere.
