Thank you for acknowledging systems change is deeply complex, requires time & also understanding that some are very fearful of these changes as their entire worldview is being challenged. They need to be included in the conversations and their fear acknowledged & then gently connected to how these system changes can actually also be a positive for their well being too. I feel this piece is often missing.
I've been having lots of one on one conversations especially in the recovery from trauma work i facilitate and what I'm seeing are so many common values underneath what ssem on surface to be polar narratives. Building the bridge to those underlying values is key. ♡
