Tears of gratitude streaming down my face, thank you for the gifts of humanity, hope and healing shared by Jacques re-telling of his story with Radha. I desperately needed this reminder today as I am struggling with current events. Some here at Daily Good are aware of my work in facilitating/guiding trauma recovery sessions, an important piece of that work is in understanding that underneath it all, we are all human. We are all "tall children." Hearing each other's stories can be that bridge between to deeper compassion and understanding and seeing that human being, that tall child.
I simply wanted to say thank you for this story at a time I needed just a little more light and hope. Onward we go, one hour, one day at a time. And yes, as one of the men said in response to, "what are you grateful for?"... "Now. No, Now..."
Gratitude and love from my heart to yours, Kristin
