Really good points here. Some poet wrote, I'm paraphrasing, when in a time of uncertainty, anything is possible. This has been my guiding idea throughout this crisis. We have to use peoples' need to cooperate and to help to counter the hyper-individualism that has risen the past 40 years, which the corporations want to keep encouraging. There has been so much good environmentally to come out of this, as well as (some) people learning to work from home instead of commuting for hours, clogging up the roads and polluting the air, appeal to these workers to think why do I need to drive so much? why do I think I need to go shopping and buying stuff to fill my hours? Now is the time to seize the moment.
