Ah yes, this is very much my story as well, though a bit different as having family and grandchildren, I don’t get out with my little one man tent (think “cell”) that often. The backyard and nearby park are a daily respite though. Find your solitude and silence wherever and whenever you can. If it’s urbsn noisy try canceling headphones with Lang Elliot’s Pure Nature or perhaps some of your own “vespers” playlist? As an old park ranger/ecologist this is how I walk in beauty these days. Mitakuye oyasin, hozho naasha doo, beannacht.
Translation: All my relatives (Lakota), walk in beauty/harmony (Navajo), and be blessed to be blessing (Irish Gaelic).
