This analysis while inspiring to some is nothing more than an unguided "pep talk" to the choir. Where is the "new ontology". I am not sure religion is going to solve the ecological crisis it help create. Religion lost its essential meaning "to bind back to the source" when it abandoned mysticism and degenerated into worship of scripture and ritual. Religion must be revitalized, but first there has to be self realization i.e. enlightenment of a significant number of humans on the planet to create a change in the collective consciousness of humanity Enlightenment is the transformation of the brain in order to conduct the cosmic intelligence that is the basis of creation itself. That alone will guide humanity in an evolutionary, rather than a destructive, path. Our current brain structure is inadequate for the task.
