Eloquently put, Heather! There's that word, evolutionary, again.....What we need is a revolution, take control of the change rather than BE the change... as my favorite band, The Beatles, so eloquently performed once,
Lyrics
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all rightYou say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free your mind instead

Yes, I think they got it right.

Loved this conversation! So many ways of approaching the same Truths. And such a gift they all are. Each seems a different way of says how important it is to see the facts and know that they don't have the power to keep our good from us. Reading The Book of Joy, which chronicles the meeting between the Dalai Lama and the ArchBishop Desmond Tutu shows the same thing. We don't have to deny reality. Again, it is the power to see all the other possibilities. It is the difference between saying "I have to do this", or "I should do this", or "I need to do this" and saying "I choose to this" or "I could do this", or "I want to do this." Labels really do matter. Thanks for sharing this.
