Great article Michele! Our brains need exercise as much as our bodies do if we are to stay mentally fit. Equally true, mental exercise opens up our brains to newer things and experiences, thereby stimulating important aspects of our brains which kick starts neurogenesis leading to the creation of more neural pathways that ultimately enhance learning abilities and improves the memory.
