Nice article until one questions the deeper cultural ideology. It seems the thinking that is hooked on the idea of the human as flawed, nature as a "thing" to be used, developed and "owned" and other archaic concepts of the world in a Newtonian Universe, would like disappear. How long is the world to remain "flat?" I am thinking that human consciousness is trying to evolve ( our true natures) and as more people understand life framed by ecosystem learning, by the way energy is an entangled field, that we and all life/non-life (? that too is a boundary to re-imagine as matter is just slowed energy!) ) are born of stars. Life has so much in common! Humans are part of something vast, evolving and if we intentionally aligned with new understanding we would stop this suicide mission called growth and progress that is dependent on sucking the life out of the "other " which translates to "self."
