I understand the perspective of making lemonade out of lemons. I also recognize that people hold different values. And I certainly understand the need for tolerance. However, I don't think that the analogy of dandelions applies to autism. The perspective of "dandelion as weed" is cultural, not botanically correct. But autism is more than a cultural label. Autism is a MALFUNCTION OF THE BRAIN, usually caused by toxins (mercury and other heavy metals, often present in vaccines).
Using the phrase "specially-abled" does not, and cannot, disguise what autism really is. Yes, there are lessons to be learned here. But maybe those lessons are different from what we say they are. Might those lessons be related to the fact that the power elite, medical-pharmaceutical cartel is causing a great deal of damage to us all? And that we need to fight back?
