All for inspiring girls to believe and acheive but as a boy, the pressure was also on me to achieve A's. Maybe women are conditioned to seek security more then men or maybe it's a biological imperative.
Personally, quoting consumerism power doesn't persuade me in an argument. Until we have child support systems that allow working mothers to compete in the workplace on an equal footing or we change the model of success in the workplace, men will continue to hold an advantage. We project an unrealistic 'you can have it all model' to women.
I think a more honest debate between men and women on the roles and responsibilities of within a family would create a more realistic platform for debate.
