This story really moved me. Just imagine how countries could achieve peace by reaching out to the adversary and listening to their story. After outward differences are stripped away and the similarities of human-to-human contact are made, perhaps a meeting somewhere in middle to the betterment of all could be reached. . Peace will not come by governments holding "negotiations" for TV publicity and votes, but by each person learning more about the "other side of the story" and thus viewing the "enemy" as a fellow human being. In my opinion, the writer of this story should be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for her idea. She has done more for peaceful resolution than a few famous folks (who shall remain nameless) that were awarded the honor and yet have done absolutely nothing toward real peace.
