And I'm part of Sugata Mitra's 'Granny Cloud' initiative. It's called granny cloud because the key ingredient in teaching here is compassion and patience, two qualities that make grannies grannies. I reach out to children in a remote village in Bengal, India where there's a computer lab and a coordinator. In this scenario, you can't define the strength of the class as this is something children need to commit to outside of their normal school routine. For instance, I connect with the children on Saturday afternoon which is their weekend. There's also no defined lesson plan and children can be of any age group varying from 6 to 16. I thoroughly enjoy these sessions and come out of it having learnt so much. yes, a lot more of values , change of perspective and respect.
