Hi Kara somewhat familiar with Charles Eisenstein, and will look up Tom Campbell. I feel like you most days, Kara; somedays, I feel like I am endlessly talking to the moon and the wind. And yet, I keep ringing this bell, raising this torch, trying to wake people up. The world civilization that we have in place is built mostly though, almost exclusively, on falsehoods, and like a onion the deceptions are built in layers. This is the first and foremost factor that must be addressed before much can change for the good in our world. And even if we choose not to reveal to the whole wide world all the ancient, more modern, and now new debilitating lies and half-truths that have kept humanity stuck in the downward degeneration which emanate from deceptions, we could stop standing in the way of truth, knowledge, justice, and mercy from reining on this present earth, which we all still inhabit together.
When Christ said that the truth will set us free, the truth needs to lead the way, not deceptions. We cannot deceive our way into a truly evolving world, one of higher consciousness that is respectful of the dignity and equality of our own being and that of others, and the inherent integrity placed within all of creation by our creator, that is seeking a good life for oneself and also for others, for all the living, and all of creation. Deceptions can only blindside us, trick us into building a world that is actually devolving, and at tremendous risk, in fact, greatly imperiled, and dying both spiritually and physically.
Meditation can bring us peace for the moment and hour, even affect our well being day to day, and that is wonderful. And yet, it is not enough to change our world, which we are deliberately destroying, for the better. We need to face the truth, the hard realities that are blinding us to what we are doing to both the life on our planet, and the heart and soul of our own humanity. And, someone needs to tell the truth, a lot of someones. There is little point in endlessly talking about, protesting and marching against what not to do, all the pollutions, manipulations, and degradations to our planet and humanity, if we never get around to what is it that we should be doing in order to save ourselves, future generations, and our planet home before it is too late? Our greatest wealth, beyond love and also the natural world itself, is knowledge. As long as we continue to suppress and bury the most ground-breaking advances in free energy technologies and other freely-bestowed knowledge and innovations contained in natural laws and natural processes in favor of the lure and lie of ever-dissolving paper money, we will surely miss the mark of living on into this earth providing a present or a future of abundance, joy, and fullness. We cannot inflict sickness, hardship, poverty, manipulation, force, suppression, oppression, violence, warfare, inequality, injustice, deadly nuclear radiation and radioactivity, burning caustic explosive fuels, defiling soils and water sources with contaminants and pollution, distributing debilitating and even lethal chemical poisons, vaccines, or drugs, perpetrating suffering, chronic illness, destruction, and death onto others and their progeny, and also onto animals, birds, fish, insects and all crops/plants/forests, soils, rivers, lakes, waters, oceans, and the air that all life breathes. And meanwhile, keep health and well being, happiness and joy, prosperity and contentment for ourselves alone, and for those human beings we deem superior and privileged, a self-proclaimed status that is above other human populations and classifications, and entitled to dominate and destroy all of the natural world for shallow and greedy, fleeting and vaporous profits. And, all this manipulation and destruction continues when we all know indisputably that we are running out of time to save this one earth home that we still all share together..
Our destiny is in our hands, and we are blindly choosing a false way, propping up everything that has failed us all along, that only leads to more deception, illusion, suffering, and death. Why? Why are we doing that? Do we hope it will suddenly lead us to a good place? We are chasing like hamsters running on a wheel after false monetary wealth, and we need to run faster and faster because our false wealth is disappearing ever more quickly than we can run. Meanwhile, our true wealth is what is actually being destroyed; we are commodifying, mutating, chemically-poisoning, polluting, radiating, burning, bombing, gentically-altering, chopping it down, paving it over, endlessly mining or constructing on underdeveloped lands, damaging and destroying ancient, diverse, and vital forests, degrading and demolishing pristine wilderness areas throughout the globe, even genetically-robbing seeds of their ability (bestowed on them by our good creator and earth) to propagate their own seed year after year, and yet gmo proponents claim shamelessly their genetically-mutated "suicide seeds", along with other genetically-altered-from-the-natural-creation and chemically poisoned seeds and crops will better "feed the world".
We are turning to life-threatening trash our real, priceless, and irreplaceable wealth in the natural world. And our own souls and hearts we are also denigrating, imagining that we are superior to others, and better than life itself, and self-authorized to turn the self-sufficency of human populations and nature itself into manipulation and enslavement for our own selfish purposes, turning joy into suffering for the living, and stealing life to propagate death for all human beings and all of creation and for our one shared planetary home.
In choosing ignorance and arrogance to lead, should we be all that surprised that they are leading us to the very edge of a perilous abyss full of never-ending violence, fueling hatred and bullying, sexism, racism, homosexual and transgender discrimination, creating incessant illness, suffering and death throughout human populations, destroying the minds and bodies of the young and elderly, racial profiling and imprisoning for profit a generation of black men, and perpetrating endless warfare worldwide. And within the rest of life, we pour on additional suffering, death and extinctions within the animal, farm animal, bird, fish, insect, and plant world, the acidification of oceans and desertification of lands affecting all of creation including the global climate, while we continue to chase the illusion, vapor, and dust of money?
Our true and lasting common wealth, our bonds of respect for each other and to all of life, we are rapidly destroying while we chase after phantoms. Why are we running after what is unreal and untrue, ignorant, arrogant, and cannot last, and deliberately destroying or leaving to die everything that is real and true, knowledgeable, wise, and lasting?
No matter how we answer these questions as a civilization, it is vital that we keep asking the questions, that we not be blindsided into our own sudden demise. If we are going to take down our entire planet home, we should, at the very least, open our eyes.
Like I said before, though, Kara, thank God there is more to life than just what we see and hear in the visible and audible world that we walk around within. And yet, in this one shared world that we are together living, and still find ourselves alive and walking around, dependent upon our one single and shared planet home, a world civilization which we are creating, and for which we are responsible both individually and collectively, ...
I am not going "gentle into the dying of the light."
I have plenty of "rave and rage" in me.
I still hope to "fork some lightening" with words alone, which are mightier than the sword.
I choose to be in the thick of knowing, and not lost in "some green bay" as to what is and is not happening to our humanity and planet home.
I am wild, and yet, even the grief of death cannot take away the joy of living with respect, for myself and all others, in peace and harmony with my fellow human travelers, animals, birds, fish, insects, plants, life, nature, and the wild and precious wilderness.
I choose to be happy, and not all "grave" about hope, faith, and love that endures beyond despair.
It is our planet and civilization too. And we can re-imagine it, and create it to be formed of good will, alive and lasting into the future, a true and real gift for the next generation, and many more to come, a triumph of our common human race, rather than a shameful dying of the best of our humanity and our one and shared planet earth home.
Don't give up, Kara. Keep ringing the bell of truth, and raising the torch of light. Maybe we can make it to a cosmic civilization of, at least, number One if we wake up, and open our eyes to what it truly means to live. And live for the first time in human history with fullness, joy, abundance, love, peace, justice, equality, mercy, truth, cooperation, free and freeing knowledge and wisdom,
by preserving and truly treasuring our trustworthy,
real assets and wealth -
love and life itself,
both of which are free, wild, irreplaceable, and priceless.
bs is from the East, and has studied passionately both the Eastern and Western scriptures. The Holy Bible and THE Upnishds AND the Sikh Scriptures say the same thing. Even great Literature speak the same essence.BUT, ONLY HE WHO APPLIES GETS THE GRACE OF THE LORD. God helps those who help themselves, and the thirsty crow made efforts when he flew and collected the pebbles and dropped them into the pitcher, before he could quench his thirst.
