I for one, wish I followed my heart and dreams in college instead of ego. But like many, at that age I didn't know there was anything else but ego. And while I am not black and not from Baltimore, I know very well how words can damage, particularly when ego is all that is known. I for one would like to find a way/cause/some manner to communicate to college kids/high school kids, etc a way to look beyond the ego. Maybe colleges kids are more enlightened then they we're when I went to school (21 years ago). If you are interested in helping me, or know a way, please email me at dwpe@aol.com.
