Terry Tempest Williams is to me an inspiration to all women who feel as she does. She could inspire many women if her word just got out. She mentions in this article about the news media and not getting the information about places like Rhonda, the Nevada Test Site, the Gulf of Mexico and the list could go on and on. This is typical Main Street Media in action. Perhaps she should look at Democracy Now to get some good and useful information. I did not know this woman until I got this Daily Good and read about her in Wikipedia. As Wik[edia points out: Her work ranges from issues of ecology and wilderness preservation, to women's health, to exploring our relationship to culture and nature. I can only hope that a number of people read this article. I can only hope that her endeavors bring about some of the changes we need in this society.
