As the mother of two sons, who loved/s and misses her mother who, after a long battle, passed almost exactly two weeks before my first son was born, I can bear witness to the poignancy and enduring love, as beautifully shared by Sohaib Alvi. Thank you for sharing. That loving does not die, simply changes. The last thing my mother said to me, distanced by miles but not by Spirit was "I love you", in a voice so soft and with such great effort that it almost did not sound like her; or, that she was whispering into my ear as if it was another kind of blessing. The last thing I said to her was, "I love you, too." I still do. Until we meet again, Mom.
