My daughter (14 yrs) finds it much easier to pick up her laptop and play a game than come outside and be inspired by the awe that nature constantly provides...yes, I do take the laptop and hide it and when I do she goes ballistic making it even harder for me to inspire her to do something more meaningful...computer games are my worst nightmare they are causing such disharmony in our household and destroying my relationship with my daughter. Technology is great when it's used properly but the younger generation are losing touch with the bigger picture because technology is more exciting...they believe.
