I had to wipe away tears before I could finish reading the last few paragraphs of this beautiful story. I too have a 5-year-old grand daughter, and our time together is made even more precious because I know it is limited. I'm facing my 5th cancer recurrence.

The simple beauty of being completely present with a young child is such a profound gift. Eleanor and her grandpa are so lucky to have each other!
