Alicia, that was said beautifully, and I have to say I agree because that is how I feel. But I also understand the terribly high cost of pet visits, shots, food, medical care, toys, etc., So I'll respond by saying "know what your getting into and the cost involved before you make the choice to get a pet. your responsible for that life, and if you can just have your animal put down just to get another one next week, that's pretty cruel. perhaps the pet you put down may have been adopted by someone else who would have been able to afford to high cost of keeping that pet alive, and who would probably be alive and well. just saying before you make a commitment for the life of another, stop and think, and pray. thank you.
