Some great points and i so believe in mindful experience, learned to let go awhile back but need refresh all the time! However as author has link with General Mills, I am picking up all kinds of dissonance. If one is truly open and mindful and employed by a corporation that seeks to profit by filling bellies without real regard for health of people or planet ( industry ignorance is no longer valid claim) there is a problem and that has to do with the “norms” she exposes as limiting. To be fully mindful we must interact with the whole ofbeing/doing despite our conditioning to divide self/other/ work/ home etc. . This is the part i do not, cannot understand. When assumed self-interest blocks our vision, we collapse into a state of semi inertia. That slow social movement thing that is supposed to look like progress but really? Tinkering with the old model will not manifest in the multilayered, wholistic "real" change we need. The old normed and dangerous delusions are the scary monsters in our closets….and just as real or not as ever!
