Inspiring and hopeful article. But, so I ask, if evolution is just a development without intention; thus no intention to 'return' to its 'forgotten' structure. If men evolved by its environmental pressures to be 'competitive' all the way', to be assholes if you like. It will probably end up getting extinct, but thats happend to many species who managed to sustain for many generations and still did not make it till this day.
Of course, it would be preferable if more people become cooperative, friendlier, sociable etc. It would have not only develop 'nice' characteristics, but probably would keep us sustainable. But this 'hope' does not make it so, even if its to be 'natural' by evolution. Its equally natural by evolution if we develop the 'wrong' characteristics and get extinct.
Oké, still, good read and indeed hopeful!
