Humility about intellectual knowledge also included acknowledging that we don't know how we ended up being so knowledgeable. We didn't pick our supportive or talented parents, didn't influence where we were sent to school, what teachers we had, where and how we grew... If we had any influence on any of this, how come? If we grew up poor and had a drive to learn, or a curiosity, or love for knowledge that drove us, how come? We didn't put that into the mix of our persona, did we?
Another point is to be honest with ourselves with regard to what motivates us to seek knowledge in the first place. A lot of times it's because it helps us to feel in control, or useful, and thus helps us banish insecurity or fear. Once we admit that, the love for knowledge and the desire to understand can shine more purely, selflessly - humbly.
On a more methodical note, I think what goes into being knowledgeable is not only the mentioned virtues, but playfulness, joy, relaxing so you can be really receptive, relaxing into "making mistakes", having fun.
