I was intrigued by the ending. My wife and I have a Mexican restaurant in Saint Joseph, Missouri, that is our absolute favorite. Virtually all of the employees are immigrants. We decided a few years ago that we make quit tipping... and start making our tips part of our benevolence and learning the names of our servers. Giving a good tip makes me feel decent and fair. Giving a generous one goes way beyond that.
