Your story makes me smile and wish I had my little boys again, so they could make these messes, for me to clean. They have grown up and raised their children, who have also grown up and left home to have their own children. Like you, I do remember a day one of mine got into the pantry, when I thought he was napping, what a mess he made, chocolate syrup all over him and his hair, smeared all over the floor, he had dumped a boxed cake mix on top of everything and he removed the labels from most of the can food, too. I laughed at his appearance and cleaned him up first, then everything else. Interesting meals for a while though not knowing what was in the cans before opening them. Thank you for bringing back a precious memory to me, by telling one of yours. This will be a golden memory for you some day, to look back on and hold close to your heart. God's blessings to you.
