That's how I got into photography. I realized that I wasn't seeing the beauty in my world as I'd learned to ignore what was in front of me in search of all of life's goals.
When I picked up a camera, I gave myself the exercise to "fine the beauty that my eye has been missing" in everyday life.
It's been amazing the change. For example, I used to regard old buildings as "decrepit", now I look for old bulldings because they're more visually interesting.
