 It sounds to me like you are making numerous assumptions Robert. Unfortunately, many homes ARE without fathers. There are also many homes in which the father doesn't have leadership qualities to give to the children. In an age where most Moms are working outside the home, school may be the only place kids learn lifeskills. What Joyce suggested may not be the ideal but I don't see how it could hurt. If you're married, I hope YOU are treating your wife like a Queen. Didn't get the "just a Mom" remark either...
