Thank you for the reminder to ask Why. In our current world there's so much pressure! Today I sit with a fourth manuscript still on my laptop even though I've published my work in book format three times thus far. Our world has become so much more critical/polarized and in edge that I self edit so much it becomes difficult (for me) to publish in this current climate for fear of inadvertently upsetting someone. So I haven't pursued. Annnd, I Did in the past put myeotk out there.... With all 3 published books, the goal to hopefully be of service, especially in building bridges between peoples. One book a combo of what I learned/lesson plan in creating and facilitating a seven year decolonizing literacy project in Belize with the goal of sharing hopefully helpful info and what to do/what not to do. The other two were co-written: including interviews of local people in Kenya & Ghana and their perceptions, wisdom and solutions/projects to address local challenges. All places in which I gathered information I had entered with invitations to share literacy work and Storytelling. This is to say, thanks for sharing and if anyone read this, thanks for listening. ♡
