As before, thank you to Sue and Service Space for sharing Sue's wisdom. Sue's Kintsugi post resonates deeply personallyand professionally. I feel humbled and honored to be able to continue utilizing Kintsugi in service to survivors of abuse, addiction, cancer chronic health conditions, trauma, broken systems and with service workers. Grateful to witness aha moments and shifts in narratives like "worthless because I'm broken." Grateful people are open to exploration. And forever grateful Kintsugi found me in 2018 at a time I felt broken. Forever grateful to share this profoundly healing art and beautifully layered metaphor with folks who are also navigating stories of broken or damaged beyond repair. So much changes when we honor the cracks. 🙏
Indeed, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.
