Evocative and eloquently stated! A thousand times yes to lingering, looking, listening and meandering. This especially resonates as I house/cat sit in Anchor Point, Alaska and spend much time observing sumptuous scenery whether out windows or on walks. Yesterday, an American Bald Eagle sat nearby un a bare pine, while I sat transfixed watching. Grateful!
