great article but there is one person missing..... also known as the spy who saved the world, Oleg Penkovsky. he was a british agent who smuggled information about how to stop the missiles in cuba in the cuban missile crisis in which soviet union eventually caught him and executed him but he stopped a nuclear war between superpowers. he didn't care o sacrifice his life.
