This was a very thought provoking and thought-ful article. @ Commenter Deborah, " This is where the words leave the page and where I am most frustrated. This is why each one alone is not going to make a great difference until we all invite others to participate in the evolution"....I LOVE THAT! And also, "Please everyone reading this start something , a group or class or whatever to help move thinking beyond the nihilistic construct of the old skool." Yes, we can read all we want. We can agree or disagree. We can shake our heads, um-hmm all day long. But until there is action involved...nothing happens. And action starts with me, with you, with the headshakers and the um-hmmers. Let's move people. And the beauty is, you(we, I) get to choose the movement. My hope is that all of the movement stays within the construct of Leppe's 6 inherent traits she describes and encourages readers to foster. Seeing it written in this format strengthens my assertion that we are not barbarians, we can and should treat each other (and ourselves) kindly and it also backs up what I work on with my life coaching clients.
