I wish I had a choice. I am at work at 6 am and usually here to 5 pm or later. I am salaried so it does not increase my income. I am 63 and do not have any other option right now. Due to a family member's medical situation, I am in debt so I have to keep at it. The demands of management are very great and the stress is overwhelming at times.
My wife and I live simply. We have a small townhous, drive Corollas, and seldom dine out. We drive our cars until they are worn out. Fortunately our weekends are free, but a lot of that is running errands. We do at least get to church and have our Sundays free. Thank the Lord for that.
I would like to have more time to pursue the things I am interested in: reading, spirituality, and playing my accordion. I just have to make the best of it.
