I am a teacher. In my classrom and my neighborhood I see the rainbow of colors ranging from dark colors to bright colors: color of judgements, criticism, cruelty, indifference, apathy as well as a few bright colors of acceptance, caring, empathy, kindness, compassion and willingness to be helpful. It's a challenge for all of us to treat all children and people with equanimity, kindness and compassion. In the richest country of the world we are poor in our heart.
