This is lovely and helpful. It extends, in my experience, far beyond our love and care and connection within our own species. Often our beloved domesticated companions are suffering and we can only hold space, honor their intelligence and unique connections to the ineffable. I think the same beautiful lessons touched on here of holding and loving and respecting and honoring must also be applied to them, and all entities of the world.
