How To Foster Generosity In Students

In an effort to encourage the innate altruistic tendencies of young students, Vicki Zakrzewski, Ph. D., offers up several key components that she believes can help cultivate a spirit of generosity and kindness. Zakrzewski, the education director of the Greater Good Science Center, which teaches skills that foster a compassionate society, notes that one of the most important - and beautiful - scientific findings is that human beings are naturally inclined toward altruistic behavior.
