Paradise Found
To boldly go where no one has gone before, one group of scientists didn't have to venture into space. They found a lost world right here on Earth, specifically in the isolated Foja Mountains on the tropical South Pacific island of New Guinea. During a 15-day expeditation; they found a trove of animals never before documented, from a new species of the honeyeater bird to more than 20 new species of frogs.
