Youth Speaks
Half content, half performance, and all art, the modern day Poetry Slam has become a way for youth turn their rage into rhythms and confusion into confidence. Youth Speaks, a non-profit based in San Francisco, has been empowering young poets by providing them a community in which to hone their slam skills through workshops, mentors, and contests to fuel their self-expression.
